My last blog post was updated last October (2019). Since then, I got no idea what to write. But recently I have read one blog post from the link HERE, and there is words that really clicked with me, let me quote it as below:
I believe most of you have already know about eBay. If you don’t know, eBay is an online marketplace that sells a lot of used stuff – that is including camera and lenses. I personally love to find the rare film camera lenses by using eBay.
Since eBay is already well known for a lot of people, I’m not going to introduce it again here. Hence, this blog post is purely going to focus specifically for Malaysian photographers on how you can buy a used lenses or cameras on eBay. If you have an interest to buy your next photography gear on eBay – so read on!
Anything that we do in life must have a purpose. If you want to go to somewhere, you must planned your trip so that you can reach your destination safely. If you want to be successful in life, you must have done something and planned something so that you can reach your goal.
Same goes with Street Photography. Either a short-term achievement, or a long-term achievement – you must have something in your mind that you want to achieve, something that can drive you towards that purpose.
It has been 3 years shooting with a film camera (Leica M6), and all this while I’ve never got a chance to use a speedlight with that camera. The first reason is – a used market for a simple entry level Leica branded flash is quite expensive, and second, since I am rarely shoot the street with a speedlight – that cost is not justifiable for me to own one – until I found FlashQ Q20ii from LightPix Labs.
Salah seorang legend photojournalism – Robert Capa – pernah berkata:
“If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough.”
Memang benar kata-kata beliau. Gambar yang jelas menunjukkan reaksi muka dan perbuatan seseorang mampu memberi impak yang lebih bermakna berbanding gambar yang diambil dari jarak yang jauh. Memetik kata Eric Kim pula:
