The date was 25 December 2013 and It was totally a last minute planning. Originally I have no intention to go out and shoot - but the urge in me calling myself to go out there and create some picture!
And yes.. I did follow my gut. Right after Asar prayer I drove my car to the nearest LRT Station heading to Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. Nobody else is accompanying me during this trip - I am alone but I totally enjoyed the trip.
The day was rather cloudy with no chance of seeing any colorful sunset. Anyhow, I was prepared for that though.

Since its a holiday, the original plan was to shoot the street around Bukit Bintang LRT station and the shopping mall but I did bring along my tripod just in-case if I find some good vantage point to shoot for - and i did!
When I arrived at Hang Tuah LRT station, I just remembered that there is one nice spot to shoot for HDR and this place is well known for the landscape photographers especially for those who lives in Klang Valley.

Right after Maghrib prayer at the nearby Masjid, I went to Bukit Bintang by Monorail to shoot for more street pictures. Inside the shopping mall, I stop awhile at the camera shop to buy an additional battery for my EM1 and then moved on to Berjaya TImes Square. (Yes! finally I got a spare battery!)
Sharp at 9 pm, I took the Monorail from Berjaya Time Square to head back to Hang Tuah LRT Station. Its a short journey though, +/- around 5 minutes, but since everyone is heading back as well, the Monorail was full of passengers. Packed like sardine! Hahaha!
Yet another great experience for me because all this while I was traveling with my bike especially around this crowded - always traffic jam - city center.

All and all, throughout this journey - I'm getting to know little bit deeper about street photography and I think I'm in love with this photography genre. This is because every photo that I took, takes me closer to the life itself, I'm began to understand the people's life, feel them and empathy for them. Everything is described in a single black and white photo. Yet some of it is better in color because it's best to describe the diversity of that particular situation. Isn't it amazing?
For me, street photography is like a mirror - a mirror that reflected the daily life of the human being and its behavior.
