The above quotes came from the infamous film director of our time ~ Christopher Nolan ~ when he’s being asked about his film Tenet, which is one of the most complicated movies of the year (2020). I love science fiction movies, but this movie does feel something else. Its confusing storyline left me feel like “bittersweet taste” after I’ve done watching it. But I love it though.

Left the movie aside and let’s use the above quotes for our specific topic – Street Photography.

Covid-19 pandemic not only halted the economics and human activities throughout the world, but it also forces me to take a step back, pause and think – whether I should or not – continue doing street photography or stop completely.

​Years passed. Here I am again. Still alive and kicking ~ alhamdulillah. Even though Covid-19 are not completely gone, we have managed to survive the pandemic and live through it all until today.

Before we go deep into the topic, let's dive into the specific word about “visual art” and “photography” itself. 
 
What is visual art?
The visual arts are art forms such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, filmmaking, design, crafts, and architecture. [Ref: Wikipedia.org/Visual_arts]
 
What is photography?
The word "photography" was created from the Greek roots φωτός (phōtos), genitive of φῶς (phōs), "light" and γραφή (graphé) "representation by means of lines" or "drawing", together meaning "drawing with light". [Ref: Wikipedia.org/Photography]

My last blog post was updated last October (2019). Since then, I got no idea what to write. But recently I have read one blog post from the link HERE, and there is words that really clicked with me, let me quote it as below:
