Covid-19 pandemic not only halted the economics and human activities throughout the world, but it also forces me to take a step back, pause and think – whether I should or not – continue doing street photography or stop completely.

​Years passed. Here I am again. Still alive and kicking ~ alhamdulillah. Even though Covid-19 are not completely gone, we have managed to survive the pandemic and live through it all until today.

I believe most of you have already know about eBay. If you don’t know, eBay is an online marketplace that sells a lot of used stuff – that is including camera and lenses. I personally love to find the rare film camera lenses by using eBay.

Since eBay is already well known for a lot of people, I’m not going to introduce it again here. Hence, this blog post is purely going to focus specifically for Malaysian photographers on how you can buy a used lenses or cameras on eBay. Roma adalah sebuah drama hitam putih (monochromatic drama) yang dipublish oleh Netflix pada tahun 2018. Ianya ditulis dan diarahkan oleh Alfonso Cuarón, dimana beliau juga adalah producer, co-editor dan orang yang bertanggungjawab merakam keseluruhan filem ini. Berkisar pada tahun 1970 and 1971, filem Roma mengisahkan tentang kehidupan seorang maid (housekeeper) yang bekerja untuk sebuah keluarga yang kaya. Tajuk "Roma" ini adalah merujuk kapada daerah yang bernama Colonial Roma, di Mexico City.

Filem Roma tersangat ini la bagus hingga ianya telah pon memenangi dua Golden Globe Awards for Best Director dan Best Foreign Language Film pada 76th Golden Globe Awards - yang ditayangkan secara live pada January 6, 2019.

I’ve started my film photography journey since last December 2016. During the first few months, I’ve tried two types of film: which is Fujifilm Superia 200 and Agfa Vista 400. And by the way, I love color and I will always shoot color – don’t ask me why I haven’t tried the black & white film.

From my perspective – Fujifilm will create some greenish color tone meanwhile Agfa Vista is more towards warm color cast and it is easily fixed in the Photoshop or Lightroom. Since then, I’ve stick with Agfa Vista 400 as my main film for street photography because I love the color and tone that it’s produced.

Dunia fotografi digital bermula pada tahun 2003 – iaitu sejak terjualnya kamera berjenama Ritz Dakota Digital (sebuah kamera point and shoot) yg dilengkapi dengan 1.2-megapixel CMOS sensor. Sejak dari itu, teknologi fotografi digital semakin berkembang pesat sehingga memaksa jenama kamera terkenal seperti Nikon mengadaptasi teknologi digital bagi model kamera terbaru mereka bermula tahun 2006.
