It has been a while I haven't shoot any landscape and/or architecture of any sort nowadays. Since having OMD EM1 as my photographic buddy (and dumping my old Nikon D7100), most of the time I just focus on candid, macro and street photography. I have tried to shoot landscape with this EM1 but it has disappoint me so many times - especially when shooting for slow shutter. I can clearly see the hot pixel on the image... Very frustrating!
Introducing: My new camera! The Olympus OM-D E-M1. After reading the reviews from the internet and watching demos in YouTube; I've decided to sell all my Nikon gear (a Nikon D7100, Tokina 12-24mm f4 and Nikon 24-85mm) for this camera. Why change from a DSLR to Micro 4/3 camera? Because it is small, lightweight and the images from this camera is simply awesome! I've been using a DSLR for the past 5-6 years and I love the image quality created from those cameras. But the hustle of carrying a bulky camera and gears always make me wishes that someday this kind of camera will turn smaller and lighter.. without compromising the image quality. I love to travel and I always wanted a camera that I can hold it all day long without having to think how to carry them. Then OM-D E-M1 came out and I've just meet the right contender. |
