I love street photography. My inspiration mostly comes from these people:
  • Umberto Verdoliva
  • Rui Palha
  • Nicolas Bouvier
  • Thomas Leuthard
  • Adam Riley
  • Che Ahmad Azhar
(Click on each name above to see their galleries)
But up 'till now I'm still learning and probably looking for my own identities. Sometimes I've been asking myself such as "Why street photography?"... "What is so good about shooting random people at street and portraying them in black and white images?"... "What to look and what to shoot in the street?"... "How to create an attractive images out from the street?"...

You know what? I've Google the questions above and finally stumbled upon the word "Cinematic Street Photography" and the provided link has directed me to awesome images from:
  • James Yeung
  • Jeff Krol
(Click on each name above to see their galleries)
My first impression when I saw their images is... "WOW.. WOW.. and WOW!"... I would say that they have created a new level or should I say a new genre of street photography which is by creating a cinematic scene out of ordinary people in any situation.

And because of them, I think I'm in love.. deeply in love with street photography and it boost my energy to shoot more in the street with cinematic style in mind.

Therefore, I present to you my images that I shoot quite recently with my compact P&S Canon G7 X.
